Ronald Reagan; Wisdom in Quotations

He may not have been quite perfect, but he was the fantastic leader we needed to restore our nation after the Carter presidency.  I pray to God Almighty that another such American leader steps up to save and restore our nation yet again in our dire need.

"The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so."

"Government is like a baby: An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other." - Ronald Reagan

He made great soundbites, too bad he was such a mediocre president.

Dave, Reagan was by far the best president we have had in my lifetime.

He restored a country on the verge of economic catastrophe thanks to the mismanagement of congress and the Carter administration and he was directly responsible for America winning the cold war. Few presidents can claim a better legacy than that in the 20th century.

I cannot help but think what kind of legacy President Obama will have, but if he continues as he is doing, it will be one of utter failure, and very well could be one of presiding over the final destruction of America altogether, sir.
