This is absolutely one of the most compelling and best defenses of our 2nd amendment rights that I have heard. Dr. Suzanna Gratia-Hupp did an excellent job in her testimony here by putting the issue into the proper perspective.
Note in her opening comments at the very beginning of the video that the government official had stated in his opening remarks how he didn't see how her forthcoming testimony would even be relevant to the discussion of their banning assault weapons. Dr. Gratia-Hupp immediately points out that hypocrisy by noting that Mr. Brady was there to give testimony in support of the ban and they accepted his testimony at face value. He was shot by John Hinckley with a .22 caliber revolver; not an "assault weapon".
