Media Matters Does the Sherrod-Thing to Glenn Beck

Mr. Beck dangled the bait last Friday and Media Matters bit on to it with gusto.  They did precisely what they and many of our progressive friends in the main stream media have done over the years.  They accuse the right of a transgression, often times erroneously, and yet they take no accountability of themselves when they are called on the carpet for the same thing when there is actual proof of their intransigence.

The bottom line was that Glenn was off on Friday and his two friends and co-producers filled in on the air for him.  They spoke on the air of how the killer in the mass shooting last week had claimed he was a victim of racism and that his murderous behavior were spurred by Keith Olbermann always preaching about right-wing racism.

Media Matters ran with this story saying how the Glenn Beck show blamed the killings on Keith Olbermann's rhetoric.

What they failed to do was put the rest of the story into their story.  That would be the part where the two co-hosts came out and said that this line of reasoning was ludicrous and that Olbermann was in no way responsible for another evil person's actions, and further he and others of his ilk likewise should know better when ascribing such hateful motivations of wrongdoing on Beck and other conservatives via their rhetoric.

Anyway, Mediaite does an excellent summary of the fallacious story run by Media Matters.

See this link to Mediaite for the whole story here.

Also, the audio link for what was actually said on Glenn Beck's show last Friday can be heard here:

Beck was back on the air this morning and said that he had "fired" Stu and Pat for their comments based on the "edited" audio he heard on Media Matters.  Stu and Pat both insisted that there was more to the story but had pulled over to the side of the road to tender their resignations so as not to harm the show.  Of course, Glenn claimed to have been ignorant of the whole situation and was not the one that actually had fired them when he listened to the rest of the story that placed Stu and Pat's comments all in context.  He then offered them their jobs back accordingly.  The satire was magnificent and Obama, Media Matters, and Keith Olbermann should all be justifiably ashamed.

Glenn Beck's American Revival Tour Was Inspirational

I had the privilege to go see Glenn Beck’s American Revival Tour this last Saturday and found it to be amazing, sobering, heart-felt, and inspirational all at the same time. It is a shame that this was the final one of these events, as I would have highly recommended it to anyone and everyone that loves our nation and understands its exceptionalism to go see it. If, by chance, Glenn deems to do more of these shows in the future and one comes close to where you live, I promise you that you won’t be disappointed in the time and money spent to attend it.

The event started at 10:30 and ended around 5:00 PM. Believe me; the time went by exceedingly fast and was well worth the expenditure.

The event was divided into three main parts.

The first was on faith and its place in the founding of our nation as the very cornerstone of its existence. David Barton was the speaker and was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge on our history is unsurpassed by anyone I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He is intrepid in his studies and actually owns many documents, including Bibles, that were written, produced, or owned by many of our founding fathers. His research into history is based on the original documents themselves and is not derived second-hand from the works of revisionist “scholars”. He did a masterful job of proving beyond a doubt that our founders absolutely established our country and intended its governance to be based on Judeo-Christian values. Our founders understood that our rights as men and women come from God and that the purpose, the ONLY purpose, of government is to protect those rights. Today it would seem that most people think that the government is the arbiter and granter of rights and that God is something personal and not to be spoken of in public. Hence the reason why we must restore our history and not reform our nation into something unrecognizable from what our founders intended.

The second part was conducted by David Buckner and involved the importance of maintaining our liberties and freedoms through our free-market economy. He masterfully illustrated how we came off the track with our economic policies enacted by multiple administrations and how that track is not only unsustainable, but is ruinous to our nation. Further, there is little time left, if any, to reverse this course down which we are traveling.  Indeed, spending must be cut NOW!

The third part of the event was hosted by Judge Napolitano and dealt with our rights and laws as enumerated in the Constitution. I had previously taken Judge Napolitano to be a conservative in nature, and indeed he is, but he also has a very large libertarian streak to his ideology regarding our Constitutional law that is impossible with which to argue. He laid blame for transgressors of the Constitution where appropriate too, from George W. Bush to Barack Hussein Obama.  He also reiterated how our Declaration of Independence and Constitution were written so as to establish a nation that that acknowledged our dependence on God for our natural rights which are Divinely bestowed.

Finally, interspersed between the sections and as the key note speaker, Glenn Beck tied everything together in a wonderful and inspiring fashion. Contrary to what most progressives will say, including the half a dozen protesters outside that admitted they had not read his books or listened to his shows, this was not a Tea Party Rally, or a GOP fundraiser, or a political function per se at all. Rather, this was an event that warns us Americans what we have lost and are in danger of losing forever, and an inspiring event that tells of our peoples' exceptionalism, our nation’s exceptionalism and how we can and will overcome this gargantuan crisis of liberty our nation faces today. It was an event which served the purpose of hopefully being a catalyst for restoring America.

I found myself to be thoroughly engaged and revitalized so as to continue fighting for our country in what small way I am able. I am ever so grateful to Mr. Beck for his caring enough about our country to put together such a show and tour to awaken people to the dangers we face so that we may restore our nation to the greatness our founders envisioned as One Nation Under God!

Glenn Beck Exposes George Soros' Ties to Petrobras

Like him or not, Glenn Beck has done some extremely interesting iinvestigative research lately regarding the pernicious globalist George Soros. Below are some of his comments regarding Soros related to the findings of his research.  I find it amazing that there is not a peep about this in the "objective" main stream media, and yet they hugely exaggerated and fabricated falsehoods regarding Dick Cheney and his ties with Haliburton during the Bush administration.  Regardless, it would seem at the very least that Soros should be arrested for suspicion of insider trading to me.  I won't be holding my breath though.

...perhaps his (Soros)most effective creation is the Center for American Progress. When the group formed in 2003, he promised $3 million, but that number could be higher as Soros admits to spending $500 million a year on his various foundations.

Back in 2003, Democrats were floundering and on the verge of irrelevance. They needed an "intellectual coup" just like the conservative Heritage Foundation achieved in the '80s. Center for American Progress provided just that; it's a progressive policy think tank that believes in "government that champions the common good over narrow self-interest" and they have heavy influence on this administration.

Bloomberg reported that the Center for American Progress "helped build the platform that triumphed in the 2008 campaign" and Time Magazine noted that "not since the Heritage Foundation helped guide Ronald Reagan's transition in 1981 has a single outside group held so much sway."

At the head of Obama's transition team was John Podesta. He's also the founder of Center for American Progress, a former Clinton administration official and the guy who not only laid out the plan for how the Obama team would be put together, he staffed the senior levels of the White House, Cabinet members and the top layer at government agencies.

With that kind of influence — and we'll show you more evidence of that influence coming up — it's important to look at what Soros is investing in. Could there possibly be any, what do they call them, conflicts of interest?

Through his Soros Fund Management hedge fund, Soros is heavily invested in many different things. But one that caught my attention (and seemingly no one else's) recently is Petrobras. What is that? It's Brazil's state-controlled oil behemoth. It's Brazil's version of Big Oil. They've netted $15 billion in profits during the last year. As of March 31 this year, SEC filings show Soros Fund has $637 million vested in Petrobras. Last December, the fund had $900 million invested in the company, making Petrobras one of its two largest stakes.

What did Soros see in these guys that the rest of the world didn't? Is he just that much smarter than everyone else? Or is it possible because of Center for American Progress and all the other connections Soros has at the White House, he knew that the administration would be making a $2 billion "preliminary commitment" to Petrobras for "exploration," just days after he strengthened his investment? Or was that just another one of those bad luck situations for Obama? Because it certainly doesn't seem to pass the smell test: A billionaire investor dumps money into state-controlled Brazilian oil company and days later administration dumps $2 billion dollars into the same exact company? Now the administration is crippling the American competitors and the biggest winner in this is Petrobras.

Mind you, this is a multi-billion dollar company that rakes in tens of billions in profits each year. Why in the world would these guys need a loan? And why are we investing in another country's offshore drilling while banning ours?

Yes, why indeed are we doing this?  Attorney General Holder, I don't suppose you would look into this appearance of wrong doing on behalf of our executive administration and one of the wealthiest men in the world who happens to be a staunch supporter of that administration, would you, sir?
