I realize that the season has only just begun, but I cannot help but be happy and hopeful with the results of my mighty Portland Trailblazers thus far. With 1/8th of the 2009/2010 season finished now, the future NBA world champions are 1st in their division, 2nd in the Western Conference, and tied for 3rd in the entire NBA!
Seeing this almost takes the sting out of my Seahawks very sad NFL season thus far. Anyway, this is just a small part of the reason why I say that deep inside EVERYBODY is a Trailblazer fan whether they know it or not! (Even my otherwise-perfect wife who refuses to admit her love for OUR Trailblazers!)

I haven't been able to watch more than 10 minutes of an NBA game for about the last ten years. I used to love it, I could watch any game and be into it. Now, for the most part, it just seems to suck.
I still love college ball though...lifelong resident of Indiana (high school and college basketball really is insane around here), and got both of my degrees from IU, so I can't imagine I'll ever be able to leave it alone. I think Jordan is what ruined the NBA for me.
Boy, that was just an open stream of gibberish, wasn't it.
Not at all. I understand your point on the NBA too. I grew up in Portland in the 70's when the Blazers were the only game in town and they won their one and only championship, so they have always had a soft spot in my heart.
