Oh my! If you really believe all that stuff, I feel very sorry for you. Please accept my sincere condolences.

ROFL! Yeah, Jerry, I really do believe this stuff. I am not a progressive Democrat like Hillary that will say whatever I think everybody wants to hear.

I believe in God, free-market capitalism, the Constitution, and the rule of law. While many Republicans are no longer familiar with many of these, to the Democrats these concepts seem to be absolutely foreign and mysterious!

Aside from God, as I won't ask you to debate Him, I am curious which of the other memes that I posted here do you think are factually inaccurate, Jerry?

LOL! If you think Hillary is a progressive Democrat, you are truly delusional. She is more of a republican than a democrat., and definitely not a progressive just as Obama is not a progressive. If you want a progressive, look at Bernie Sanders.

Of course he thinks that, Jerry. It all makes sense now: T.Paine gets his political opinions from Memes. For what it's worth, I found the Heaven/Hell one funny.

If you don't think Hillary and Obama are progressives then I don't think that word means what you think it means, Jerry.

Unknown, you reminded me that I needed to change my blog settings so that anonymous and unknown commenters would not be able to do so on my blog. I don't recall ever editing or deleting anyone's comments over the past years, but in recent times I have grown greatly annoyed at people that have something to say but refuse to stand behind their comments with their name. It strikes me as... cowardly.

No, I don't mean "progressive" as a pejorative. I mean it as a descriptive adjective of their political ideologies. If you find the word offensive, then perhaps there is hope for you, Jerry. :)

Unknown,
You are wrong. While the memes may reflect his beliefs, they do not form his beliefs. If you have read this blog for any length of time, you should know that his beliefs are genuine and come from a strong sense of God, life, liberty, and justice.

No, TP. There is no hope for me. I am too old to change. And I do not consider progressive or even socialist as offensive.

Jerry, there is always hope, my friend. I can feel the conflict within you. Let go of the dark side of the force! Lol!

That right, and you can google Thomas Paine for more of his famous quotes. Stand behind your comments with your real name, just as Thomas Paine does!

Ahahahahaha. Sorry, Mr. Paine, but I had no choice.

Mr. Myste,

I'm happy I'm not the only one that picked up that irony.

T.Paine,

I'm actually not sure how to change my name from Unknown. I do not have an OpenID and unfortunately it doesn't draw my name when I login via Google.

Yeah, I thought that might be the response I received after having posted that. Touche'!

Okay, let me clarify. There are several people that comment under "anonymous" at another blog I follow. They are very confusing as one tends to spam a lot of irrelevant data. The other ones have diametrically opposed viewpoints on most issues. It would make for far greater clarity if they would just pick a name for reference for the rest of us so that we know to whom we are engaging in conversation. I had hoped to avoid a similar frustration on my own blog accordingly. I am sorry that you have had issues logging on with your name.

Leave it to my buddy John Myste to be a smart ass... :)
