Black Lives Matter

Black lives matter. Absolutely they do! The amount of melanin in one’s skin pigmentation does not add nor diminish to the inherent dignity and worth of any human life.  Of course, black lives matter.  The phrase itself is uncontroversial and inarguable to my mind. Every person is a child of God and created in His image.  As such, racism is a sin and a pernicious evil that is not to be tolerated by decent people of any color.

Now, the organization of Black Lives Matter is another thing altogether.  They are founded by self-professed “trained Marxists” who seem bent on destroying capitalism, religion, social mores, the nuclear family, and the very foundation of America.   One prominent Black Lives Matter leader told a news reporter just two weeks ago that the group is willing to embrace violence.  And they have proven this repeatedly in the ensuing weeks.

Black Lives Matter (the organization) is not about black lives.  They could not care less about the dozens of black people killed every single week in Chicago, Baltimore, Seattle, Minneapolis, New York, Los Angles, and elsewhere in our country at the hands of others that aren’t police officers.  (Every city of which is governed by Democrats, but that is an entirely different matter… or not.)  They certainly don’t do ANYTHING to help improve the lives of Americans of color.  Indeed, if they wanted to help black Americans, they would realize that capitalism, faith, and the rule of law has brought unparalleled prosperity and peace to people of color in this country, especially in the past three years.  But BLM, the organization, only wants to foster hate and division when a black person is killed by a police officer.  It is a pretext for “burning the whole thing down” as one member said.

If a police officer is wrong in using deadly force on ANYONE, I am right there with you in protest and demanding justice --- just like every other decent American is, regardless of color.  What the rioting, burning, looting, shooting, and destruction of property largely by snot-nosed suburban white kids marching under the BLM banner does is to harm this cause for justice.  They are not about justice.  They want an excuse to engage in chaos, anarchy, and mayhem.  That turns the vast silent majority of Americans against them specifically and dilutes a just message by righteous protesters that then becomes lost in the ashes of rioting.

Further, the idiot rioters further prove their ignorance of history, or perhaps just display the fact that they don’t give a damn about it, as they tear down or vandalize statues of Fredrick Douglas, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, Columbus, and even a damned statue of an elk in Portland last week.  A freaking elk!  I was not aware that the elk were the most racist creatures in the forest.  The bottom line is that this not about black lives mattering.  It is about furthering a Marxist, godless agenda.
Teaching our kids that racism is a pernicious evil is the responsibility of all good parents.  Teaching them or allowing them to be taught that Marxist antifa and BLM groups which espouse violence and have very little to do with denouncing actual racism is a gross abrogation of parental duties.

I know this nonsense is commonplace as taught in our schools and colleges by teachers and professors with a militant leftist agenda these days.  America is always bad to these people and they indoctrinate and infect our students with this verifiably false load of crap.  Truth is the very first casualty in this socialist revolution that is bound to fail.

Sadly, there is real racism in America, but it is far more the exception than the rule.  It is NOT systemic, even in nearly all of the police forces throughout our nation.  We should be concentrating on eradicating real racism through an education of actual facts of history and current events instead of made-up and debunked agenda-driven programs like the 1619 project and BLM rhetoric.  How does a nation elect a black president and people of color to all offices throughout this country if it is overwhelmingly racist?

What happened to George Floyd was horrific.  That said, the officers involved were fired, jailed, and will face punishment for their parts in his murder.  Every single decent person that saw that video agrees with that, regardless of color.  Mr. Floyd did not deserve to die and I fully support the righteous anger of the PEACEFUL protesters to that purpose.  They are preaching to the choir though, as I said, every decent person already agrees with them.

We achieve nothing when Americans are busy hating America. Further violating the rule of law will only usher in a new Jacobian version of the “French revolution” here on American soil, except the ending for the radicals will be much different here.  Despite what the progressives teach in schools these days, there is a distinct difference between the American Revolution and the French Revolution.  Our revolution led to a representative republic based on the ideal that all men are created equal.  The French revolution, which the mob today is emulating, led to the Reign of Terror.

It is heart-wrenchingly sad when so many ignorant, arrogant, and thuggish people want to burn down the nation simply so they can “govern” over the ruins.  The overwhelmingly vast majority of Americans are better than that, and while once again we are a sleeping giant, the righteous anger of Americans of all colors will eventually cause us to stand up and protect this divided nation from a small vocal and dangerous minority of anti-American would-be insurrectionists from within.  The first step is for good people to stand up together and say enough.  History has proven in past such incidents that We The People will indeed do so.

Sooner rather than later would be better.

To Denounce ALL Hate and Racism

Once again it seems America has come completely unhinged, with the help of the mainstream “un-biased” media there to fan the flames of our own cultural destruction.  Sadly, racism has always been a problem in our nation, and around the world, for that matter.  Even more sadly, it will always be present in our society to at least a hopefully minor extent.  It is an inexcusable evil that, when left unchecked, has resulted in the dehumanization of others so that they could be exploited, enslaved, and even murdered.  Even more sadly, the number of people enslaved today throughout the world in 2017 exceeds the numbers that were enslaved in 19th century America.  Many of these slaves today are perniciously sold and used as sex slaves.

Yet despite such horrific numbers, America was doing far better with its racism problem in recent times, until the last decade or so.  We even had a majority of Americans vote for our first black president.  While I agreed with very little of President Obama’s policies and had seen many disturbing signs that had cracked his polished veneer while he was still running for the White House, I too was buoyed by the fact that America in its decency could indeed elect a person of color to the presidency.  Indeed, I would venture that the timing in our history was such that Barack Obama’s color was absolutely an asset to his election.  (Never mind the foolishness of voting for someone simply because of their color, instead of their qualifications.)

I was greatly disheartened, however, to see that rather than further unite our nation as Americans, President Obama squandered the good will bestowed on him by a significant majority and decided to insert himself into more localized incidents; indeed he was often prompted to do so by the complicit mainstream media once again.  The net result was that instead of us all simply being “Americans”, he further divided us into hyphenated Americans, most especially black-Americans and white-Americans.

Recently in Charlottesville, Virginia, there was a relatively small gathering of assorted white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and various nut-job racists that gathered with a permit to exercise their first amendment rights to spew their vile speech.  It should have been a minor story of only local interest, but sadly some Nazi-wannabe thought it would be a great idea to become a domestic terrorist and kill people by driving his car into a group of counter-protesters.  Luckily only one lady was killed instead of the dozens that could have been.  This terrorist, whom I will not name to give him further notoriety, will hopefully be punished to the fullest extent of the law for his act of murder accordingly.

It seems that the inflamed result of this event for some of our brothers and sisters on the far left is to insist on tearing down any vestige of our national history if it is even tangentially connected to the confederacy or even much of western civilization.  Indeed, eight statues and monuments have been destroyed, defaced, or pulled down by these radicals on the left since the Charlottesville murder.

One of the monuments defaced was of St. Junipero Serra, who was a priest and tireless advocate for Native Americans.  Another monument was a bust of Abraham Lincoln, which leads to the question; do these idiots have any idea of what they are even protesting?  They certainly don’t have any historical knowledge evidently.

Recently, Harvard professor Alan Dershowitz implored his fellow liberals,

"Do not glorify the violent people who are now tearing down the statues. Many of these people, not all of them, many of these people are trying to tear down America. Antifa is a radical, anti-America, anti-free market, communist, socialist, hard-left sensorial organization... They use violence. Just because they are opposed to fascism and to some of these monuments, should not make them heroes of the liberals. ... Doing what Stalin did, just erasing history and rewriting it to serve current purposes does pose a danger. And it poses a danger of education malpractice. I'm a liberal, and I think it’s the obligation of liberals to speak out against the hard-left radicals, just like it’s the obligation of conservatives to speak out against the extremism of the hard right.''

Professor Dershowitz makes a good point.  Since the far-left hate groups of Black Lives Matter and antifa want to tear down confederate statues, what is to stop them from wanting to tear down monuments to Washington, Jefferson, and Madison?  After all, these founding fathers were slave owners too.  What is the difference between Thomas Jefferson and Robert E. Lee to these ignoramuses?

It has been posited to me that Washington and Jefferson were great founders of this country so their slave owning is somehow overlooked or excused.  I frankly don’t buy it, as those guilty of tearing down statues to somehow hide our history don’t seem to love the idea of America in the first place, so why would they leave its founders alone?

Now personally I obviously don’t think any vestige of our founders should be disturbed, much less destroyed, but for the sake of consistency on the far left, how do they reconcile this disparity in their targeted anger?  Further, do these fools think that by removing statues or defacing monuments, we will somehow purge our history?  We fought one of our bloodiest wars over the sin of slavery.  That sin was paid for in blood.  We need to acknowledge that and try to make this nation one for all Americans again.

Today’s far right hate groups are grotesquely wrong in their racism and hate.  The far left hate groups are likewise wrong in their counter-racism and hate.  The calling out of the extremes on both the left and right fringes should be the cause of every decent American.

That said, “both-siderism” is something that has taken a lot of flak lately from some quarters, particularly from the far left.  I suppose I am guilty of this from a political perspective.  But I really don’t consider myself as pointing out what’s wrong on the left as a means of deflection from the wrongdoing on the right.  On the contrary, I could care less what political persuasion one is.  I am pointing out what is right and what is wrong - period.

It is because of this that I can unequivocally point out all violence, racism, and hate regardless of the group that is fomenting it, whether it is from the KKK or the BLM; the neo-Nazis or the antifa crowd.  All are despicable and all are deserving of decent Americans’ condemnation accordingly. (And yes, some are indeed worse than others are, but that doesn’t give any of them a free pass because their transgressions’ results of hate are less in body count.)

At the end of the day, we need to come together once again, regardless of color, faith, or political persuasion to call out against the wrongs and evil in our society.

In the meantime, if folks want to help fight against white supremacy, perhaps they should call out the evil of Planned Parenthood, which aborts approximately 266 black babies every day.

Just a thought…

The Politics of Intolerance, Hate, and Anti-Semitism on College Campuses

There never was a nation called Palestine. It was a region -- and it was populated by Jews and Arabs alike. The entire cause of disavowing, boycotting, and the would-be destruction of Jewish Israel is patently dishonest. Most "Palestinians" are from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and so on: not the region called Palestine. Indeed, Yasser Arafat, the terrorist leader of the PLO and subsequent "Nobel Peace Prize" winner, was himself Egyptian. (The fact that Arafat was awarded the prize speaks to the lack of credibility of this once noble committee.) This charade is all bogus and stems from anti-Semitic hate towards Israel and Jews.

Sadly, the anti-Semitism in U.S. universities has often been created by the students within them from the Middle East who covet Israel’s land and prosperity.  And then there are many professors who tow the seemingly progressive line and promulgate the agenda of decrying the "racism, apartheid practices, and oppression of the Zionists" which has sickened the minds of young students who trust such authority figures blindly. The students don't bother to do the research to find out the history and the truth of what is really going on in Israel. Sadly, even a loved one of mine has succumbed to these lies and refuses to even look at the contrary and inarguable EVIDENCE of the truth.

When the Palestinian government allies itself with Hamas and Hezbollah, whose very charters call for the destruction of Jewish Israel and denies its right to even exist, who really are the hateful ones? Indeed, if Israel were to unilaterally disarm, they would be over-run and utterly destroyed immediately. They would be wiped off the face of the map, as the former president of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, once stated was his goal. On the other hand, if the "Palestinian" people and surrounding hostile nations were to unilaterally disarm, there would finally be peace in the region.

Therein resides the difference.

Therein one finds who is truly hateful.
