Today, October 12, 2020, we acknowledge the annual celebration of Columbus day.
In this day and politically correct age, Christopher Columbus has been morphed by the left from the brave and intrepid explorer who was the very catalyst that ushered in Western Civilization to the New World into a genocidal villain that ruined an unspoiled paradise and destroyed the native peoples there. The truth tends to support the former rather than the latter in most respects. Prager University has done a great job, as usual, in summarizing Columbus in one of its five minute videos. Columbus was an invaluable man in the formation of the Western hemisphere and the very societies we have here today. I encourage you, dear reader, to watch this brief video accordingly.
As per the video,

statues, schools, towns, cities, a national holiday, an Ivy League

This is a very powerful fact-grounded advertisement put out by the National Rifle Association, of which I am a life member. It shows Biden lying once again and becoming belligerent to a union worker that asked him a fair question about Biden's wanting to confiscate AR-15's and such. Biden, of course, denied it despite there being video evidence to the contrary, including him telling Beto O'Rourke (the failed Texas presidential candidate that wanted to confiscate many of America's guns) that Biden was going to put him in charge of doing so if he wins the presidency. The "mentally cognizant" Biden takes issue with the gentleman whom asked the question and tells him he has never said such things and that he is "full of sh*t". He then asks him if he wants to step outside. Is this the man that the leftists/Democrats think is best suited as their presidential candidate? Sadly, he may very well be the best they have to offer.
I think we should simply build a mock-up of the oval office in some memory-care nursing home, put Joe Biden in it, and tell him he won. Everybody wins that way.
Our friend, Dave Dubya, went to a lot of effort to write a very interesting poem which he shared with me in one of his many comments. I wanted to share it with our readers and then answer some of the questions his poem asks. I give you Mr. Dubya's poem:

It is a shame to poke holes in your poem, Mr. Dubya, considering
you obviously worked so hard at it, but the truth must be heard with the
questions your poem asks.
“Fake news is the enemy of the people”
Yes, if it is not truthful, then it absolutely is the enemy
of the people.It misinforms and tells
lies to propagate a dangerous socialist agenda.It ignores the wrongs of the left and characterizes rioters as “mostly
peaceful protesters”.It questions
President Trump’s mental condition and ignores the fact that Joe Biden cannot
even hold a press conference without having answers written for him on a
teleprompter. It seeks to destroy one side and not inform, as journalism is supposed to do.

No.ANTHROPOGENIC
global warming is not proven science.It
is a means to further a Marxist agenda by the left.I give you the green new deal as evidence of
this.
“We don’t want everybody to vote”
I do NOT want everybody to vote.I want only registered American voters to
vote.I don’t want illegal aliens or
felons to vote.I know that cuts into the left's voter block though. I’d prefer that voters
also are educated on the candidates and the issues, but if they are registered
American voters, even the ignorant have a right to vote.
“Tax cuts for the rich are what we need”
First, while I have never had a poor man offer me a job,
that is also false propaganda.Bush’s and
Trump’s tax cuts helped middle class families immensely, especially with child
tax cut credits.The problem is that the
bottom 50% of American tax payers account for less than 5% of the national tax
burden.The leftists in congress
describe anyone with an above-minimum-wage job as rich evidently. Further, Trump's tax cuts were a significant reason as to why the American economy grew so strongly before the Covid nightmare.
“Public healthcare is not a right”
What?I thought Obama
and Biden fixed this already with their expensive and largely useless Obama-care.Oh, that’s right.Now Biden is going to fix healthcare… again.
“Public education is not a right”
This is a new one that I haven’t heard before.Public education is an absolute necessary
good for our nation.That said, the NEA
and other teachers’ unions are part of the problem.They have leftist agenda-driven teachers that
are often incompetent in the subject matters they teach that do nothing more than
indoctrinate our children into being minions and “peaceful Marxist protesters.”Get rid of the teachers’ unions so we can
have some accountability of our educators and throw out revisionist lies like
the 1619 project. It would be nice if we had teachers and parents that cared enough about education to actually, well... educate. It is a disgrace that America lags so far behind other countries in math and sciences, among other critical subjects.

Yes, I am sure a complete shut-down of the economy under Joe
Biden for six more months will save us all.The pandemic is dangerous; however, it has been exaggerated for political
purposes in order to create financial instability and weaken Trump’s re-election
chances.Luckily, most people see this
for exactly what it is.
“I take no responsibility”
I assume this is a direct quote from Nancy Pelosi.Perhaps after she was caught being “set up”
when she violated the law for all of us common folk and went and got her hair
done in a shut-down salon.
“Make America great again”
Who says that?Americans
that love this country and its rights, freedoms, liberties, and opportunities
for everyone, regardless of creed or color.We The People who love and support the notion of E Pluribus Unum; we say
that.The left abhors that idea though. If the nation takes many diverse people and
makes them into one America, then the Left loses their victim card of pitting various groups against each other.They
lose their adversarial sexist agenda.They lose all of their identity politics agenda they have fostered in
order to divide our nation.Yes, lets
make America great again for ALL Americans.

It seems like yesterday in someways; September 11th, 2001. I forget that most Millenials were either not born yet or were way too young to remember that horrific day when our nation came under attack by violent way-ward Wahabbi Jihadists. This five minute video from Prager University does an excellent job of summarizing that historical event. Thank God that we have largely eradicated ISIS and al Qaeda and their evil doctrines throughout the world today. Lets hope that we Americans remember the goodness that is America and the freedoms and liberty she represents. Lets also hope that there will always be brave men and women that are willing to fight for it and protect it against fascism, Marxism, and authoritarian philosophies. Joe Biden has always been a poseur. He has lied about his education, his credentials, and his accomplishments. He has plagiarized in law school and on the stump repeatedly. He has grown incredibly wealthy over his 47 years in government "service". He has been corrupt in his dealings too, including covering for his son Hunter Biden with shady deals regarding China and Ukraine.
A Ukrainian investigator was looking into Burisma, Ukraine's largest gas company, which paid Hunter Biden over $50,000 a month to be a board member despite not having any experience or knowledge of the industry. With this windfall in jeopardy, Vice President Biden threatened the Ukrainian government.
"So they said they had—they were walking out to a press conference. I
said, nah, I’m not going to—or, we’re not going to give you the billion
dollars. They said, you have no authority. You’re not the president.
The president said—I said, call him. (Laughter.) I said, I’m telling
you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting
the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six
hours. I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the
prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a
bitch. (Laughter.) He got fired. And they put in place someone who was
solid at the time."
The left screams that Trump had
the audacity to ask the Ukrainian government to look into this coercion
from sitting VP Biden as corruption, but they ignore the mafioso
deal-they-cannot-refuse given to them by Biden. Just one more example of the "honest and decent" man that the left is portraying Biden to be despite all evidence to the contrary.
My Aunt Faye passed away just a few short years ago.Sadly, her mind preceded her passing about
two decades prior to that.My aunt was once
a sharp lady and along with my uncle, who died decades before her of a heart
attack, had built a nice life together.They were very comfortable in their earnings.It was a good thing they had financial resources,
as my aunt, while physically healthy, suffered Alzheimer’s disease long before
her passing.
At first, she became easily disoriented and was not sure
where she was or where she was going.In
a few short years, her memory continued to fade to the point where conversations
became difficult, and then degraded to the point where she no longer remembered
the faces of family and friends.The
last five years of her life, she even lost her ability to talk.It was a horribly difficult and sad thing for
the family to witness.The best the
family could do was to take care of her and keep her comfortable and safe.
Sadly, there are myriads of families that have experienced
similar difficult situations with cognitive impairment ravaging the mind of a
loved one.As family, we protect and
love these family members while maintaining as great a sense of dignity as
possible for them.
Which brings me to my point.What in the world is Jill Biden doing?What are the rest of the Biden family doing?It has long been quietly surmised by anyone
that has eyes, ears, and a scintilla of objectivity that Joe was slipping mentally.He has always been a gaffe machine of the
first order, but lately it has become painfully apparent that his mental state
is significantly impaired.He certainly
doesn’t have the cognition to deal with the stresses and decisions required of
the office of the President of the United States of America.In fact, when a friendly reporter asked him recently
if he had undergone a cognitive test to refute such accusations, Joe Biden retorted testily as to whether
the reporter had had a drug test and further inquired as to whether he was a
junkie. C'Mon man!
As anyone paying attention to his campaign has noticed, Joe
Biden forgets which state or city he is in repeatedly.He loses track of stories and struggles to
find the words to communicate simple thoughts.He gets testy easily and even lashes out at supporters and the
mainstream media, but then I repeat myself.Putting all of his political history and issues aside, is this truly the
man that is best fit to lead the free world?
According to the Democrats, the answer is a resounding “Yes!”
Jill Biden’s first loyalty and responsibility should be
towards her husband and his well-being, and not to the demands of the
Democratic Party.Joe continues to
confusedly read speeches from teleprompters as if that is the only requirement needed
to be fulfilled for the office of the presidency.The Democrat Party has intentionally kept him
in his basement avoiding most interviews and public appearances, under the
guise of being “responsible” in this age of Covid-19.The few softball interviews and short public
appearances that Joe has attempted have only served to further raise questions
as to whether Joe is a few sandwiches shy of a picnic. And of course, Nancy Pelosi and other prominent party members are encouraging Joe not to debate President Trump. They KNOW how horribly that would go.
If Joe Biden cannot make it through short, scripted public
appearances with a friendly crowd, or conduct a softball interview with a sycophantic
media personality, how is he going to make tough, timely decisions in stressful
and hostile situations as he runs the greatest country in the history of
humankind?I don’t think Vladimir Putin,
Xi Jinping, or Ayatollah Ali Khamenei are going to cut Uncle Joe any slack in
their dealings with him.On the contrary,
I think Joe’s debilitated state will be greatly used to their advantage and against
the interests of freedom, liberty, and the United States of America.
Certainly knowing all of this, Jill Biden should not have allowed Joe to run for
president.When it became glaringly
obvious that he could not perform up to minimal standards on the campaign
trail, she should have insisted to the DNC that Joe suspend his campaign.She should have done this as his loving wife
who wants to protect Joe and what little dignity he has remaining.
I can understand the cynical and jaded Democrat party wishing
to keep Joe Biden on the top of the ticket as their best chance to capture the
White House.Considering the group of competitors
running against him, I think a senile 47-year political career hack is indeed
their best bet.
After all, if Aunt Faye were still alive, and a socialist,
she too would be a better option for the Democratic nominee.
However, Jill Biden should know better and she should be
deeply ashamed.
